Has Labour 'Lost It'?

Dunno. But this guy surely has. Lucky it wasn't the Yellow Pages who sided with the Tories! He should have got one of those shredding machines on the platform! Or even better, taken a match to The Sun, put it in the dustbin and continued with his speech, causing a small fire and widespread panic in the auditorium...Okay, now I'm being silly. Those Labour Party people though, eh?! They don't like it up 'em!

"Has Labour 'Lost It'?"

Yes, hopefully, - the next election, that is.
Well really, does Labour seriously think that such gimmicks as not charging hospital inpatients for parking in their own taxpayer funded hospital carparks is going to swing an election for it?

I'm no fan of NuLabour (I'm unreconstructed Old Labour) but I really object to the Super Soaraway Scum's arrogance. Just who the hell do they think they are? It's a sad day for democracy when a megalomaniac pornographer and his gutter level "newspapers" assume the right to decide who should govern the country. Rupert Murdoch, despite his Papal knighthood (why?), is no friend of the Church.

Kate, do you really think things will be any better under the Tories? As the Who once said "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Daily rant over.

I don't think the Tories will be better, but they might interfere with people's lives a little less.

My big gripe over Labour isn't some of the decent stuff like a National Minimum Wage etc, its the growing power and interference of the 'database State'.

Historically, the Conservatives are ideologically opposed to it. Hopefully they still are.

The Tories were in favour of a national ID card until NuLab went for it. Labour were against it when the Tories under Thatcher were for it. It's all political point scoring and posturing.

The Tories are in favour of freedom from state interference only for the rich. Cameron will be no different from Thatcher in that respect.
