Give Us a Sign, Just Any Sign: Catholics Vs Presbyterians

It might be that the Presbyterians are right on this one, but at least Catholics have a sense of humour. The churches are just across the road from each other. Well, one of them's a Church, at least.

Our dog Hector, will definitely go to heaven when he dies, doggy heaven that is! He comes with us to Mass every Sunday and Holiday of Obligation, naturally he is a traddy like us, and he plays a very active part in our daily rosary - play being the appropriate word! He has really only doggy-sinned once, when he helped himself to a cheese sandwich off the kitchen shelf, but like all of us humans, he paid the price and was sick immediately afterwards! Thanks for your post, good to have a laugh, or should I say a woof!

The true answer is that if you want your dog when you get to heaven then God will not deny you.

I read your comments at Damian's blog and thought them excellent. Keep it up Bro.

So sad though!

BTW, according to Aquinas's 'degrees of perfection' is it not safe to posit that there is such a thing as the perfect jaffa cake? What would such a thing taste like?

be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” (5:13, NIV).
