Call me stupid, but...
If this volcanic dust cloud is so terrible, then how come there are so many pictures of it taken from the air?
Those pilots, eh? Any excuse to take a couple of weeks off...
In the picture below you can see that Brighton has been inundated with the volcanic ash dust, a strange blend of dust and ash having fallen onto the beach which resembles an array of pebbles of assorted colours. Strange and beguiling...
Still, to see us through this latest apocalyptic scenario, at least we have Creedence Clearwater Revival. Take it away, boys...Apparently the last time this baby blew, in 1821, it didn't stop erupting for two years! Can you imagine how many flights were grounded last time!

Gliders, balloons, kites are used to take ariel pictures!
Ah, that's what you say! I think, Father, that we all know its a conspiracy.
I would recommend flying upwind of it!
Might have gone up in a piston-engined aircraft. The clear skies and silence are nice.
I wonder if it is part of a blackmail attempt so we don't ask for all the money back that their dodgy banks embezzled.
