Yes he did. But, like the pic, it was more candy floss pink.
Our parish priest never wears rose but the three assistant priests we've had in the last five years all do. The parish priest celebrated Mass yesterday so he was in purple.
He wore purple. I didn't expect anything else. He's the kind of guy who would never wear pink unless his superior ordered it, thank God.

Yes, he certainly did, and explained the significance to the children. In our former parish the parish priest refused to do so but was happy to light a rose candle on the Advent wreath without any explanation, either in church or in the newsletter. And why exactly is Dymphna thanking God that her priest wore purple?
No he didn't but but said that in our chapel no rose vestments were unable as otherwise he would have done so.
