'Pro-Choice' Catholic Priest to Sue Life Site News...

What with the Sun emitting a massive solar flare which has Scotland wondering if the Northern Lights are going to be visible soon, rumours of restrictions being imposed on Summorum Pontificum by enemies of the Pope in Rome and the news that ancient Britons used skulls as cups in order to drink the blood of other Britons, it would be hard to think the World could get any madder...but it can, and most probably will!

Today, Gloria TV informs us that a Catholic Priest is to sue Life Site News, the superb Catholic news agency, for misrepresenting his views. LSN had the audacity to claim that the former homosexual prostitute, former member of the Canadian Parliament and now 'Catholic' Priest, Fr Raymond Gravel, was "pro-abortion". Fr Gravel was offended by this, saying, "I'm pro-choice, not pro-abortion" (as if there is a great distinction between these two moral stances - either way, he isn't pro-life or pro-the Church's authoritative position) and has decided to sue LSN for a whopping $500,000! Now that's what I call a Priest after the Heart of Jesus...with a dagger in his hand. LSN does not really have money to fight costly legal disputes and certainly would be put out of business by this renegade priest were his efforts to sue the news agency successful.

Pray that he drops the dagger and repents...and soon! What does a Catholic Priest want with $500,000 anyway? That is quite some way to replenish a Church Building Restoration Fund!

In his case, probably "start" a church building fund.

Well they should be more careful about what they say about people then, it's tantamount to slander and they're not above the law. It's surprising that no one else on the uber-traditionalist blogosphere hasn't already found themselves in this position.

It's just a Catholic blogosphere. It is such a shame Catholicism offends you so much, who are, I guess, a Catholic.
