Catechism of the Catholic Church (675)

Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh. ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church (675)

Islamic Prayers in the Vatican on Pentecost Sunday

The prayers, I believe, will take place in Vatican gardens, but I think we can all agree that we've certainly come a long way since Regensburg...

Defend this I can not...the other abominations occurred well of Church grounds...May God have mercy...Me thinks Pope Francis needs to re-read the Ragensburg address and take those words to heart...Of course that'd be "being an idealouge of the Logos" which we know isn't permitted in the new Papacy of Insults (TM)

I know. When I read it first last week - my heart sank ...I sensed, if this is true that it was the end of "something" ..

These false relgions hat Christ : it's even written in their books...

And I don't thin PF is going to try and convert them ...he's to busy patting them on the back and endorsing them in their eerror..

Sorry - but "Catholics" who are able to defend this are blind..

B

p.s. Even my husband who is not as passionate about these Church matters as I am ..thought this was scandalous..

We continue to pray, Mr. Bones..

And as we all know, where a muslim prays a muslim believes his god has given him the right to own as an islamic place - it is an indication to the muslim that this place is no longer under the aegis of any other than his own god.
-
I once worked with a Jewish woman in a university, and when the local muslims wanted to pray on Friday in an unused lecture room in our department she kicked up a fuss for this very reason.
-
This is a heretical open thumbing-his-nose the face of Christ act by Frankie. He is an open apostate - how more formal an act could a 'pope' make with regards to denying his own faith? and to perpetrate this anti-christ act on Pentecost is just Frankie's icing on his anti-christ cake.

The pope is using an irrational inference in the interpretation of Vatican Council II. The SSPX or the traditionalists cannot correct him since they are making the same mistake. Most of them are unaware of it.L.A

SSPX (GB) uses irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II so avoids saying Jews, Muslims, Protestants need to convert

"We can in nowise approve" of bergoglio.

'A similar object is aimed at by some, in those matters which concern the New Law promulgated by Christ our Lord. For since they hold it for certain that men destitute of all religious sense are very rarely to be found, they seem to have founded on that belief a hope that the nations, although they differ among themselves in certain religious matters, will without much difficulty come to agree as brethren in professing certain doctrines, which form as it were a common basis of the spiritual life. For which reason conventions, meetings and addresses are frequently arranged by these persons, at which a large number of listeners are present, and at which all without distinction are invited to join in the discussion, both infidels of every kind, and Christians, even those who have unhappily fallen away from Christ or who with obstinacy and pertinacity deny His divine nature and mission. Certainly such attempts can nowise be approved by Catholics, founded as they are on that false opinion which considers all religions to be more or less good and praiseworthy, since they all in different ways manifest and signify that sense which is inborn in us all, and by which we are led to God and to the obedient acknowledgment of His rule. Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting the idea of true religion they reject it, and little by little. turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it clearly follows that one who supports those who hold these theories and attempt to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely revealed religion.'

HEAVEN’S
LEAVEN

There once was a Pope of nice
The Bishop of peoples and mice
Each person, his sibling
Though Church mice, liked kibbling
But become bread, left to His device!

And the traitorous act will take place today with not even a whimper from any in the hierarchy.

So why did Our Lord bother to come down to earth, suffer all the atrocities He suffered, die, rise again and establish His ONE CHURCH under Peter? - for what?

for nothing then...according to Pope Francis....this is worse than any Assisi event...much worse...

while the jesuit, the rabbi and imam make Albert pike and manly p. hall in whatever level of hell Dante reserved for that sort, proud, here's a Catholic reality check on a real Pentecost as opposed to the anti-pentecost of the anti-pope:

Peres, Abbas need to convert for salvation according to Pope John XXIII's Vatican Council II

Israel’s Shimon Peres and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas according to the Catholic Church's Vatican Council II are on the path to Hell since they do not have 'faith and baptism' needed for salvation.According to the Catholic Church (Notification, CDF, Dupuis 2001) their religions are not paths to salvation. There are good and holy things in their religion ( Nostra Aetate ) but the religions are not paths to salvation and they need to convert ( Dominus Iesus 20).

They will both pray today at the Vatican, which affirms outside the Church there is no salvation, in the text of Vatican Council II (AG 7) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (846).However publically it is not affirmed.

Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II

Even Patriarch Bartholomew, the spiritual head of the Orthodox Church, who will be present does not have Catholic faith ( AG 7) and according to the defined dogma Cantate Domino Council of Florence he is oriented to the fires of Hell unless he converts into the Catholic Church before death.

This was the teaching of Pope John Paul II in Ut Unum Sint.He taught that membership in the Church under the pope was necessary for other Christians. This is also the teaching in the Catechism which says God wants all people to be united in the Catholic Church (CCC 845) .In Ecclesia di Eucarestia Pope John Paul II upheld the ecclesiology of outside the Church no salvation.

According to Pope John XXIII's Vatican Council II Jews,Muslims and other non Catholics need 'faith and baptism' for salvation. In Heaven there are only Catholics, who are there without mortal sin, and with faith and baptism. Pope Paul VI who concluded Vatican Council II said in Evangelii Nuntiandi that even though the members of other religions may have their hands raised to God, the Catholic Church is the only path to salvation.

In 2014 we do not know any person saved with ' a ray of the Truth'( NA 2) or 'seeds of the Word'(AG 11) or 'imperfect communion with the Church'(UR 3). They are possibilities but the ordinary means of salvation in 'faith and baptism' in the Catholic Church.
