People voted for Obama and Blair because the alternative was infused by a Faux Libertarian doctrine whose effect would have been to grind the faces of the poor even more, whilst the wealthy garnered even more of the God-given resources of the planet to its own profit.
Both parties were following false prophets - Marx or Rand, false is false.
Physiocrat: Should it not be "Marx AND Rand". Both Conservative and Labour seem to have no difference on this.
Britain has elected Obama four times, and is sadly likely to do so a fifth come 2015.
