That The Bones You Have Crushed May Thrill...

...brought to you by Lambrini.

The choice of a generation who don't have much money.

I tell you what. I'm hooked on this stuff.

Can you imagine a wedding reception in which well-dressed waiters came around filling champagne flutes saying, "Madam? More Lambrini? And for you, sir? The peach flavour? Right away!"

A guest says, "What year is this, waiter?" Waiter says, "2010". Guest says, "No, I mean the Lambrini. What year, my man?" Waiter says, "Yes. 2010. Check the best before date, mate, if you don't believe me."

A commenter, Clare, has asked how Lambrini makes me feel like dancing. It has to be this one.

Lambrini - I thought that was the name of a scooter! Only joking but I haven't heard of the drink. Sounds good. I'm still on the Buckfast having at last found a source!

Honestly. It's not my fault I'm hooked on Lambrini, mate. God made me this way.

God loves my relationship with Lambrini and its time the Church recognised that so that I can marry a bottle of it next month.

Lambrini, you obviously you have a tendency towards an intrinsic moral evil. How objectively disordered!

see, you were panicking about nothing...

The Pope's planned papal visit to Coventry is going ahead as planned, the Archdiocese of Birmingham has stressed.

Some reports had suggested that an open-air Mass at the city's airport may be scrapped and a smaller event be held near Birmingham instead.

But an archdiocese spokesman said that is not the case.

Pope Benedict XVI will travel to Coventry airport for the beatification of Cardinal John Henry Newman, a convert to Catholicism.

First visit
Peter Jennings, the archdiocese spokesman, said: "The facts are that the papal visit to Coventry will go ahead on Sunday 19 September as planned."

The mass is expected to start at 1000 BST and last for two hours.

"During that time Pope Benedict XVI will beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman," he added.

The Pope is visiting the country between 16 to 19 September, in what will be the first papal visit to the UK since that of John Paul II in 1982.
