I´m not surprised.

Month ago I took Card. Bergoglio´s teacher F. Scannone SJ seriously, so I know what to expect.

All you bloggers are getting worked up about the rumours of Marini-1 becoming Head of the CDW. I don't think that's going to happen but I do think it's going to be worse(from your perspective) than that. Marini-1 is being lined up as Moderator of the Curia (ie the new position mentioned by the 8 super cardinals). He is the only one of the bishops who has experience of the concillium and non-curial lead reform. I've got money on it happening!!!

Say what you want about the 1960's, the music was great! My personal theory is it's because songs were written so teenagers could dance to them. The songs had to be short, and have a melody and a beat. Even the sad songs made you feel happy about being sad ("You've lost that loving feeling . . .") There were songs for slow dances and songs for fast dances. Then came drugs and everyone sat around getting stoned on 10 minute guitar riffs.
