Equality for the Sexes

The prevailing view of the time is that men and women are essentially the same, yet there was a guy who wrote a book called 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' who made a lot of money out of pointing out the differences between the sexes.

So who's right?

Of course we are not the same! Vive la difference!

I remember that book and remember my husband agreeing that women's thinking was indeed very different from that of a man. (Incomprehensible at times!) Many will remember in My Fair Lady Rex Harrison singing 'why can't a woman be more like a man?' It is only in recent years that people began to say that we were 'the same'. No we are not - we have complementary talents.

33 The really, terribly embarrassing book of Mr Laurence James Kenneth England. Pray for me, a poor and miserable sinner, the most criminal ...
