Papal Plane Joke

Have you ever noticed that the controversial plane interviews are always on the way back from his trips abroad? Saying the controversial things on the way there would be like telling your dinner host the food was bad before arriving. It just wouldn't make sense, would it? Far better to tell everyone else after the event, that way people will know not to go there for dinner in future, and your offended hosts can't rebuke you for your bad manners to your face.

@Phil. Bergoglio of the crap wine starter and finisher, is not the machination of God. He's just another antichrist (probably with utopian intentions, God only knows). All the faith knows is that he is not of it.

Sorry Laurence, but your remark does not make sense. The Holy Father cannot answer questions on his visit before he has been there, only after. I have read the questions put to him, and his answers, through the link you provided, and am impressed. It is easy to criticise, there is always something to knock, but it can become tiresome.

If I understand him rightly (but who does?), traditionalist, or 'fundamentalist' (to quote him directly) Catholics are equated with other religious 'fundamentalists' including extremist Muslims! This is beyond ridiculous, he is obviously aware of the distaste that many of his stated views have incited in real Catholics and is using his position to constantly hit back using insults and accusations against us. He is a bullyboy who isn't very bright.

Why in the world is that the case?

Can't journalists ask him questions on the way there as opposed to on the way back?

The question regarding condom use in Africa has been discussed for years and was publicly discussed by the latest pope. Pope Francis didn't have to finish his visit before answering such a question.

Likewise, relations between Muslims and Christians in Africa have been going on for centuries. There is no reason whatsoever that the pope cannot answer a question about such a topic on the flight there.

It's your remark that made no sense.

PS. @umblepie. What about Bergoglio is Holy in the name of Christ, or Fatherly to the flock, according to Christ's Bride?

Those who do not go in by the door are.....???

"Far better to tell everyone else after the event, that way people will know not to go there for dinner in future, and your offended hosts can't rebuke you for your bad manners to your face..." = heresiarch.

We surely don't hold Bones responsible for VII-NOVUS Ordo hersiarchs -and the conversion of Catholic Real Estate and those who frequent it - to protestantism?

Some comments seem to suppose such. I know the articles presented on this site straddle a line that could shake this or that hand; buy at least it cannot be accused of putting people to sleep in satan's crib.
