The Priest who Genuflected Before the Tabernacle...

)

...and the Pope who didn't!

At 1.00 minute on Rome Reports.

People who don't genuflect before the Lord make Our Lady cry and that is a scientific fact!

Is the priest genuflecting none other than Cardinal Pell?

I am weeping at the mispronunciations....yes, too bad few priests acknowledge the Kingship of Christ in the Eucharist...

I am not a medical man but I suspect that Pope Francis may be suffering from arthritis. He is somewhat awkward of gait.

I guess that when His Holiness kneels down to wash lady muslim prisoner's feet, the condition eases off a little.

I must say I found it so humbling in a recent video of the emeritus Pope where he genuflected when he entered his chapel. I believe the current Pope has spoken out against 'out dated gestures' and I guess he considers genuflecting one of those :(

Pope Francis doesn't genuflect during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I have never seen him genuflect at any time.

He doesn't genuflect at the Consecration, either.

I guess he must have been distracted - so many indifferentisms to promulgate, so much many peripheral marxisms to expound - so many redefinitions of previously plain teachings in order to promote renewal. Perhaps he was genuflecting in the same way as he fasts.

It's not 'too bad' - it's terrible - a disaster -a new religion .... in my view - not Catholic - not even Protestant as they don't verbally deny the true presence - but act as if it is not true.

I'm worried sick that our Church is in the hands of such irreverent individuals...

Judging by the start of the video he obviously has difficulty walking and maybe has severe arthritis. This might mean that genuflecting is well nigh impossible if having got into the kneeling position it is not only extremely painful but possibly you find you cannot get up again without help.

Personally I never genuflect before receiving communion for this same reason. In the interests of health and safety bring back altar rails to give us oldies something to help us get up and down. Their absence is sheer discrimination against the elderly and makes an accident tripping over the step up into the sanctuary ever more probable.
