Internet says BBC coverage begins at 8.15am
If you want a longer coverage without the usual BBC 'waffle' so often during quiet moments of prayer etc. then kto on the internet is due to run from 7.55 British time to 11.25. Commentary is in French but usually not intrusive in the actual broadcasting of ceremonies. They don't feel they have to fill every moment with talking!
The station has the added advantage of being able to watch videos of all the main Papal events after they have occurred.
