Any man that believes a lifelong union with another man will make him happy is absolutely correct.
Any man that believes this union will result in happiness with any other man than Our Lord Jesus Christ is terribly mistaken.

Laconic, but says it all!
Well, Jesus makes me happy, as well as my boyfriend :-)
In what way does your boyfriend make you happy and in what way does Jesus make you happy?
Well Jesus probably makes me happy in the same way as he makes you and other christians happy. My boyfriend makes me happy because he provides me with love, companionship, mutual caring, understanding, respect etc. As the wise and well respected Cardinal Hume said the church teaches that all love (whether between hetero- or homosexual) persons comes from God.
'My boyfriend makes me happy because he provides me with love, companionship, mutual caring, understanding, respect'.
It just sounds like he's your friend. Not your boyfriend.
Well like many elderly couples, we haven't had sexual relations for many years but he we are still very cuddly. I suspect most married people's descriptions of their partners would sound like they're friends unless they inappropriately include graphic descriptions of their sex lives.
I would agree love and its many expressions comes from God. There is often, however, a confusion between love and sex.
