Behold, readers, the horned Beast of the Apocalypse.
Bring back the Index Librorum Prohibitorum.
Children should not be indoctrinated with this kind of diabolical storytelling.
Isn't it obvious who the Gruffalo really is? For how long will we allow this horned beast with yellow eyes to haunt and seduce the minds of young children?
Someone get me Bishop Williamson. He needs to know about this scandal.

But but but he's a single dad though Laurence. Have you not read the Gruffalo's child?!
This stems from the fact that the creators of the Gruffalo have written a book called Tabby McTat which features two women who take in a stray cat, who, being a boy cat, becomes their female cat's wife and they have kittens.
According to the right-on mummies at Mumsnet, the story is great because it features 'incidental lesbians' one of whom has a deliberately 'gender neutral' name of Pat. (That it rhymes with Cat and Hat in a poetic story escapes her).
Right, so lesbians, children being given away, it's all part of a secret agenda! BAN THIS FILTH!!
But in all seriousness I don't know whether this thread makes me want to laugh or cry. A scary insight into the chattering achingly liberal mindset.

Does anyone else think the Gruffalo resembles one of the monsters in 'Where the Wild Things are' by Maurice Sendak?
I presume Laurence's comments are tongue in cheek!
Young children love such books showing 'monsters' being shown to them as long as it is in the comfort of their own home. The contrast of being scared whilst being cuddled by mum or dad is not new - remember the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood, and the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk etc. WTWTA was one of the most read books in our home and is now being read by another generation.
Of course, we know that it is the UN who are responsible for this smut.
Our Lady of Fatima predicted all this.
