Latest Spiritual Ornithologists' Interpretations of Vatican Events

What does it all mean? I'm sure it is something to do with ACTA.

Eponymous Flower has an interesting post on it today.

It's all getting very spooky. May I suggest a white eagle next year instead...

lot of weird bird signs with this man. First the seagull sitting on the chimney. not a dove, a seagull. now crows and seagulls attacking doves in front of him. hmmm.

I guess there is something wrong with this kind of "peace" the poor doves had to symbolize, a "peace" according to the UN`s liking since Pope John XXIII's 1963 encyclical "Pacem in Terris":

http://www.rfp.org/vision-history

Back then "Pacem in Terris" was especially praised by Communists:
http://contentdm.baylor.edu/cdm/ref/collection/cs-vert/id/9146

"Experts: 'Pacem in Terris' had radical impact on church teaching
(…) Despite the encyclical's stated topic of peace, the speakers focused more on Pope John's analysis on the intrinsic dignity of every human person -- with its implications for religious freedom, the equal rights of women, concern for the poor, rights of developing nations, possibilities of stronger international institutions to address the then-incipient issues of globalization, and other key social and political issues of church concern -- some of them even more burning today than they were 50 years ago.

Several speakers saw in initial actions of the new Pope Francis signs for hope that John XXIII's Pacem in Terris vision of church engagement with the world will gain new life in the next few years." (...)”

BTW, last year the "doves of peace" refused to leave the Vatican.

Correction:
The doves refused to leave in 2011.

Last year only one seagull attacked the doves.

As far as symbolic natural occurrences go this is quite tame. How about the Holy Spirit's verdict at the end of Benedict's reign - the dome of St Peter's dome being stuck by lightening? Quite damning I'd say!

I read the article and it is indeed spooky. What is also spooky is how the pagan Left has adopted Pope Francis as one of their own, despite the fact that he upholds the sacredness of life, marriage, and family.
I saw a newspaper cartoon implying that the pope lives in an Occupy Wall Street tent. And it was meant to be a compliment.(shudder)

The raven/crow and sea gulls are unclean birds in the Old Testament. Sin is all that's unclean after the death and resurrection of Our Lord. One interpretation could be throwing the Faithful to the predators who 'prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.'

Fr Z said JPII was the first one to employ this spectacle.

Maybe you should include the crow/gull attackers on the cover of your Papal book of Insults, since it includes Francis wielding the same dove.

Should he have released an armed mini-drone instead?
