Santa Visits Brighton Early...

...and he's homeless. Jason was evicted the other day from New Steine Mews homeless hostel following a fracas. A man drunk on vodka reportedly struck Jason, who then replied with a punch of his own. The man who threw the first punch is apparently still resident in the hostel, while Jason was evicted back into the cold streets of Brighton. Things had been going relatively well at the hostel until it happened. He doesn't go looking for trouble, but trouble invariably comes his way.

It is not a good time to be sleeping rough. The Council seem to make quite a few people who live in their hostels homeless. They don't appear to be very good at managing vulnerable people addiction and mental health problems, which one would think is a prerequisite for working with people in homeless hostels. Here is Jason singing 'Breakeven' by The Script. He has a good knack of changing lyrics to songs and twisting them around to singing about homelessness, while still keeping rhythm and rhyme, which is quite a talent in my opinion.
