there was much confusion between the Valentine of the knozebuggarallstics and the Valentine of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. the distinction may have been undermined in the battle between authentic Catholic martyrs, and the Gnostic gneed to keep surely bassie, sorry, surley mclayn, sorry surely keep the fist, sorry, feast, going, everysuffragette.
