Rest in Peace

The man who broke the phone-hacking scandal that today wiped $1 billion off shares in News International, bringing the owner of a huge multinational corporation, senior Government figures, senior police officers, and even the prime minister himself into disrepute was today found dead at his home.

Reports have omitted to mention who found him dead. The neighbour who who knew Mr Hoare 'did not seem himself ' in the weeks running up to his death did not wish to be named. Police say the death is as yet unexplained but it is not being treated as suspcicious. "Move along here, now ladies and gentlemen. There is nothing to see, here." May his soul rest in peace.
