Christ the King Statue in Poland

Video from Gloria.tv documenting the absolutely huge statue of Christ the King, and its construction in an unpronouncable place in Poland. The music's a bit much but great video...

It's in Świebodzin, pronounced, if it were English, 'Shvyebodgeen', accent on 'bodge'.

Quite easy really tee hee!

It's quite underwhelming in real life though so I've heard because it's basically in a big field not on top of a mountain like Brazil.

Plus it's made of fibre glass so a bit tacky maybe?

Maybe this will be the first step to reclaiming the social reign of Christ the King?

Our Lady is already Queen of Poland. It's official, and the hymn Marja Królowa Polski is regularly sung in schools, Catholic and State.

Thank God!
