Today's Must Read...

Corruption, which is always something done 'in secret' seems to be 'one of the greatest evils'
in the world today, according to His Holiness.

Therefore, the cloak of 'anonymity' should not be enforced upon those present at the Synod.

Let the Bishops and Cardinals speak their minds and be seen to be accountable, not only to God,
but to the People of God for having said it.

If it is anonymous, it isn't really Parrhesia.

"A synod without freedom is not a synod. It is a conference. The synod, instead, is a protected space in which the Holy Spirit can work. And for this reason the persons must be free. This is why I will not allow the things that each one says to be published with name and surname. No, it should not be known who has said it. I have no problem with revealing what has been said, but not who has said it, in such a way that one may feel free to say what one wishes." ~ Pope Francis

Strange creature, is a non-Catholic Bishop of Rome. The other day he threw his pharisiac stones, yet again, at 'selfish armchair Christians' who 'distance' people from Christ?! When it comes to distancing people from Christ, Bergoglio - of the 'I feel like being a public heretic' again brotherhood - oughta know about distancing people from Truth and Faith, and Worship and Love of, and fear of God Almighty and His Church.

As for this secluded space to test the spirit of VII in: Hebrews 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of Him.

Publishing what a person says doesn't curtail in the least that person's freedom to say it. It does, however, expose that person's thoughts to everyone else, which is the real reason to hide behind anonymity.

Good thing the Holy Ghost has Bergo covering His back - how could He ever have managed without Bergo providing a protected space in which He could work?

Well, my faith is not in people, but in Christ Who promised that the Church shall prevail and I also believe that this Pope will not, despite his own mistakes, promulgate heresy "from the chair of Peter".

I pray for this pope, that he may fall in love with the Latin Mass, as this could change him more than any comments on line.

The modernist revolutionaries created a conspiracy prior to Vatican Two and that conspiracy was exercised in silent, secret meetings by some of the Fathers of V2 and on the very first day of V2, the conspirators took over control of the Council by force when they actualised their conspiratorial plans and so it seems unfair for Fr. Hunwicke to be so against our new ecclesiastical traditions.

Watching Francis being Pope is, one imagines, what it would be like watching a giraffe pole vaulting.

@Philip: Providence might permit many things (our own sins for example) but that Providence bought the product, wrapped it up and shoved it in our mail-boxes?
