What's Scotland Got to Do With It?

I went for a little walk in Preston Park on Monday and saw that among the first lorries setting up shop at the Park for Gay Pride, due to commence this weekend, was BBC Scotland.

Ever with my blogger hat on I wondered, 'What's Scotland got to do with it?'

Perhaps they're inviting Cardinal Keith O'Brien down to explain the Church's position on 'gay marriage' to the revellers this weekend...

I think they were there to film the Gay Gordons Laurence.

Typical. I'm sure there are informal links between them and the LGBT/Stonewall lobby. They always seem to be one step ahead of the game re gay marriage. What we need is a whistle blower to tell us what's really going on in there.

That is odd! Probably just lending vehicles to another region, but much more fun to speculate on deeper conspiracies behind it.

How about: 'A drama from BBC Scotland following the journey of a group repressed Scottish Catholics as they learn to come to terms with their inner selves and love leather and Kylie after being exposed to the joy and freewheelin' fun of Gay Pride in Brighton.' Sounds BBC-ish enough, doesn't it?
