Are you quite sure that you are not confusing Ecumenism - by which is understood the Churches relationship with non-Catholic Christians- with inter-religious dialogue?
"the gods of the gentiles are devils". so says sacred scripture and sacred tradition, and battle weary exorcists, but do we really need these when we have the truth hidden out there in the world, possibly keeping company with all those poor devils pushed to the peripheries for so long, so hungry for a little pigeon pie?
