The prevailing view of the time is that men and women are essentially the same, yet there was a guy who wrote a book called 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' who made a lot of money out of pointing out the differences between the sexes.
So who's right?
Of course we are not the same! Vive la difference!
ReplyDeleteI remember that book and remember my husband agreeing that women's thinking was indeed very different from that of a man. (Incomprehensible at times!) Many will remember in My Fair Lady Rex Harrison singing 'why can't a woman be more like a man?' It is only in recent years that people began to say that we were 'the same'. No we are not - we have complementary talents.
