Food is symbolic in so many ways. That is why the Eucharist is so important, so central for Catholics, and even for those other denominations that question the Real Presence. God's choice of the fruit of the earth made with human hands, bread and wine, in which He mysteriously becomes real to us is the greatest food. Thanks for showing the picture. My first taste of strawberries and cream this year will be watching Wimbledon. I shall think of this picture.
