Happy blogging, Guild and happy reading, readers!

By the way, while I am blogging about it, and while it is getting a little late, please can I request that near the bottom of the page, the profile name is changed from The Guild of Blessed Titus Bramble to the Guild of Blessed Titus Brandsma. Below is a picture of Titus Bramble and I'd appreciate that one of the guild would correct my own mistake.

Footballer: Titus Bramble
He is a footballer who plays for Sunderland, unlike Blessed Titus Brandsma, who was a Priest martyred for the Faith in Nazi Germany.  Anyway, that's the Guild of Blessed Titus Brandsma. Our own blogs are in order that we may be largely reactionary. The Guild blog is so that we may be more, er proactionary, in communicating the Faith. Also, if someone else fancies putting a site meter on so that we could see our stats, that would be fantastic.

  1. Fantastic. And The Smiths is the icing on the cake.

  2. Good Luck with the job this week!

I have commented on the Science and Religion post.
You never know, you might be invigilating not only future Stephen Hawkings but also brilliant Jesuit astronomers bound for the Vatican Observatory.
    Regards.

  3. Excellent Laurence - I did not think it would be up and running so soon! I think the name is an appropriate choice as on looking him up I discovered he was a journalist but we are all going to have trouble remembering the name though - I see even Dylan has called him Titus Barnadsma! I rather like the name Titus Bramble but had no idea there was a footballer of this name!

    Not too late to change.

  5. Pete I was being honest - just because we in England find the name difficult (he was a Dutchman)does not mean it is not suitable. When I was out this afternoon I tried to remember it and failed but his Christian name is easy to recall. So we can always refer to the Guild of Blessed Titus for short.

  6. Laurence - did you know that when you click onto the 'profile' on the Guild's blog at the top it still calls it Titus Bramble?

I can see members becoming known as Bramblers - in 50 years time a question on the blog 'Why are members known as Bramblers?' will be answered by 'This was due to a typo in the early days which stuck as an affectionate name for them!'

I only have one criticism - the format for putting on a comment is far too difficult for the technologically challenged.
