Breaking News: New Preece Baby

James Preece's wife, Ella, has today given birth to a little baby boy! I don't know how much it weighs. Why do people ask and tell how much a baby weighs anyway? It's not like buying vegetables is it?!

    Not only must you know how much it weighs, the weight must be in pounds and ounces - it's tradition innit! (rather like every news report has to include the age of the subject of the report).

    Don't forget length from tip to toe, we need to know the length as well. I'm sure some hospitals used to do head circumference at one time.
