OTOH, perhaps we should wait for further words of wisdom from Hilary Mantel. It was she, after all, who informed her right-on, right-thinking readers that the Catholic Church "is not an institution for respectable people".

Didn't you know that "unwanted" babies are of a species different to that of humans and "wanted" babies?
