Is His Grace Wearing a Biretta During Inter-Faith Week?

  1. I don't think so. Can't see the tassles but he appears to be wearing a jewish prayer shawl so I would presume that his headwear was a more elaborate form of skull cap lent to him for what ever occasion that was in the inter-faith week.

  2. Isn't this in the pagan temple where he burnt incense to a god?

  3. When I went to a Jewish ceremony I was given a throwaway thin paper yarmulkah. It showed respect, but nobody would have mistaken me either for a Jew or for somebody thinking that what they were wearing was fancy dress.

  4. He's a bit red in the face. I hope he gets regular check-ups for his blood pressure

  5. I wonder how happy he was to be dressed up like that. I don't think it's Polyannaism to say that he might not have foreseen that.

  6. Laurence, His Grace's fondness for a curry is well known hence, he likes to enter into the spirit of eating out by dressing for the part.
He is seen, in the interview, in his best Brahmin outfit.
