Why is this? If the whole orginal article is by a Doctor, why is the title "To be a Social Worker, You Have to Learn to Crucify"? He also says, "what I said might influence their decision as to whether or not she would be allowed to keep the baby," so at this point no decision has been made on the unborn child. Also the doctor says, "I knew that she deserved a better start in life." This is not the social worker saying this, and so Max is not "stealing" babies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2389530333077823143.post-29305958084095704152010-02-02T19:04:07.509+00:002010-02-02T19:04:07.509+00:00Max Pemberton is a doctor not a social worker. I know having met families that they make you jump through hoops and wait for you to fail. If you don't meet the standards you are failed and are given little or no moral or emotional support. I am yet to hear a good story regarding social services involvement with a family. The Boneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10271719805983763595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2389530333077823143.post-46873870598788243172010-02-02T14:50:18.039+00:002010-02-02T14:50:18.039+00:00And what about the mother who IS in a detox progra...And what about the mother who IS in a detox program and her newborn is still stolen?unhappygrammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12533694926276373256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2389530333077823143.post-3425166108818243942010-02-02T14:24:08.188+00:002010-02-02T14:24:08.188+00:00"I refuse to believe that a mother who allows..."I refuse to believe that a mother who allows her child to be born addicted to drugs has its bests interests at heart [Yet, she still has not killed it.]."

Brilliant, never thought of it like that before, I'll use that.

Maybe on the nice respectable drug dealer I know. He drives a respectable motor, buying his own house, and runs a successful business, but he's a drug dealer too, and relies on vulnerable people as his fodder. What will Mr social worker do about him? I guess he pays his taxes though, and I know he never touches drugs himself, he offers them to others though, the bastard(sorry)!

Love this post!

Power to the powerless!mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06962374096401238994noreply@blogger.com
