Thank goodness I spent a good part of Sunday listening to readings from the KJV on Radio 4 yesterday. The perfect antidote.
I've just revisited my childhood. We were so impressed almost none of us practice or know the faith. Just wondering how many of those "round the altar" first communicants are still about. Probably none.
Just watched my childhood flash before my eyes, along with so many of my Catholic school friends who neither know or now practice their faith.Lord have mercy indeed.
