Moneybomb for The Good Counsel Network

I hope that it is not too late to draw readers attention to The Good Counsel Network, who are in desperate need of financial help. Today it is the Feast of St Nicholas Myra, well known for coming to the aid of the widow, the orphan and a belover friend to the poor.

What better way to celebrate than to donate to The Good Counsel Network, who help so many women, families and unborn children so vulnerable to abortion in this age. For more inspiration, we are approaching the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Monday.

Last I heard they are currently overdrawn and need over £1000 to help mothers and babies in serious need. Therefore, let's have a 'moneybomb' for The Good Counsel Network. Give generously today to their work. The Lord repays and loves a cheerful and generous giver.

If a thousand people gave a pound, if one hundred people gave ten, if ten people gave a hundred, if one person gave a thousand, the money would be there quickly for them. Let's bombard Good Counsel Network with money!

Happy Christmas to people who do such good work, and may they find their moneybomb under the Christmas tree.

Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us.

The good news is the money is there; the bad news is its still in our individual bank accounts! It is time to put our money where our prayer is. So why don't we who are priest readers of this blog commit say 10% of our Christmas offering to the good counsel network and hold retiring collections at Christmas masses?
