The Best Vocation Video for the Dominicans Yet


Wow! This video is the 1964 Vocation video of the Dominican Order of Preachers of the Province of St Joseph, New York, USA.

My...this is a much better video than the other two I put up. You'll see why. If you have some time, why not also watch this excellent educational video on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

One of the clerical aspirants of about that year would have been Archbishop Joseph Augustine Di Noia, O.P., Vice President of the Pontifical Commission “Ecclesia Dei". Archbishop Gus was ordained to the priesthood in the Dominican Order on June 4, 1970.

Clearly this video recruited a very high standard of intrant (as they would be called hee in Scotland).

The Dominicans have gone the way of all the old orders.....and not a very good way. There are some signs of orthodox revival but they are still just tiny shoots. Let's pray that they grow.
